Zooplankton are small animals that feed on microalgae. There are many types of zooplankton, but the most commonly used in aquaculture are rotifers, copepods, and mysid shrimp. Reed Mariculture is proud to introduce live zooplankton as our new aquaculture product line.

Your Rotifers will be packaged in special breathable bags containing microalgae rich in omega-3 fatty acids with a shelf life of 2-3 weeks in your refrigerator. To keep the rotifers alive longer than 2-3 weeks please order Nannochloropsis, Isochrysis, or Pavlova to feed them.
