Useful for large-volume media and culture preparation, especially where light is required, e.g., algae. Ideal for storing or dispensing reagents or distilled water. Practical for use in cold rooms, even at subfreezing temperatures. Graduated to contain in 1-gallon and 5-liter increments. Closure size is 83B (83mm). Can be used with Magnetic Carboy Stirrer (NALGENE® Series 2227). NOTE: Before autoclaving, just set cap or closure on top of the container without engaging the threads. Autoclavable/Transparent/Graduated/Leakproof.
